Electronic Measurement Systems and Instruments

The importance of electronic measuring instruments is incalculable, since they are used to measure and indicate electrical quantities, such as current, load, potential and energy, or the electrical characteristics of the circuits, such as resistance, capacitance and inductance. In addition, they allow locating the causes of a defective operation in electrical appliances in which, as is well known, it is not possible to appreciate their operation in a visual way, as in the case of a mechanical device.

This line of research and development aims to standardize, calibrate, verify, control and maintain electronic instrumentation systems as well as to develop and produce equipment, parts and pieces of devices and measurement and control instruments in order to offer scientific alternatives and technologically based to contribute to achieve a growth of quality productions.
